And one month later, 5 days left in the Month of October, (huge part due to being 7/8 months pregnant) .....Halloween Advent Calendar COMPLETED!!
My sweet sister in law had a very similar one that i was able to "copy" so with her willingness to let me steal it for a day or two to make patterns and with a very patient husband who never complained once of the consistently messy kitchen, wall-ah! I'm so happy to have finished it, even if it's only going to be up for a few days:)
This is 100% felt besides the small piece of wood and velcro i used on the back to hang it on the wall. I do not have any patterns to share unfortunately, it involved a lot of eye-balling it. The one thing i can share with you that would be super helpful info is to use the iron on fabric adhesive stuff. The stuff made all the difference. Draw your patterns on the paper first, than iron, than peel the paper off, than either iron back on or just use the "liquid stitch". And the pockets are not sowed on, i sowed the pockets together beforehand and than just glued them onto the black piece of felt. Fingers crossed that the "liquid stitch" holds up over the years.
